Adding a video to blogger

Compressing for the web. When exporting from FCP, export using QuickTime conversion. Select H.264, make the dimension small, 320 x 24o or smaller. Make sure to select the streaming option at the bottom (compress header for quick start). Name the file with no upper case letters, and no spaces, with ".mov" on the end.
Go to blogger and create a new post, like this one, and upload the video. Easy as pie!

Using Blogger

As a team you will set up your own blogspot which can be used:

• -by each individual to post progress reports when due (see online syllabus)
• -by the team to communicate with each other and your community partner
• -to post short quicktime videos--these can be clips you shot that day, short work in progress pieces, test videos
• -to discuss each other's projects, to share info, to keep up to date, to reflect....

Go to http://www.blogger.com to set up your site. When you are finished with setting up your site as a group, please give me your url so that I can link it from this page. Your group will share a blog space, a login and password. Make sure that you sign off each of your individual posts with your name for credit as the login will be the same for the group!
